Founded October 22, 2009 - The purpose of this league is to promote the sport of ice hockey in the Berks and surrounding counties. Our goal is to provide a safe and controlled environment in which our students can learn and progress in the game of hockey. Every player will be encouraged to exhibit good sportsmanship, be a strong team player, and play with integrity and respect for players, coaches, and officials.

East Penn Scholastic Hockey League was established to administer a competitive ice hockey program for scholastic students without regard to sex, religion, or ethnic background; to foster among its participants, supporters, and club officials the understanding and adherence to the high levels of sportsmanship and conduct exemplified by the traditions and rules of USA Hockey, EPSHL, Flyers Cup and PIAA rules (as they apply); to coordinate standards with those school administrators who choose to be involved relative to eligibility, supervision, and safety of their participants; to maintain and foster among the general public and interest in the sport of scholastic hockey; and to exercise a general care, supervision and control over the playing interest of its players and their teams.
